Analysis of material flow and level of inventory between production sections in time

The bachelor’s thesis deals with an analysis of material flow between manufacturing sectors connected by an intervening storage. The first part is focused on detailed analysis of logistics and inventory theory. The second part is focused on a simulation model creation. The simulations are realized in Tecnomatix Plant Simulation software, developed by the Siemens company. At the end of the thesis there is a conclusion of the analyses.
Optimization of the Armrest Manufacturing Process

This bachelor thesis deals with the optimization of production processes taking place in the manufacturing company IAC Group Slovakia. The work includes a presentation of the company and an analysis of the current state of production processes taking place in the company. The theoretical part of the work describes the methods of lean manufacturing, basic concepts associated with the process management of the organization. In the analytical part, the manufacturing company is first introduced and a global analysis of processes is performed. Then a specific production process is analyzed, which will be optimized. The proposed part shows the proposed part of the process and there are evaluated the benefits of the proposed solution.
Optimization of manufacturing process in a selected company

This thesis is primary focused on optimization of the production process in a selected company.Teoretical part of this thesis is the result of literature research of Lean Six Sigma, which is mostly used by the company. It is a brief insight to an issue and introduction of the most often used tools from Lean Six Sigma methodology, which were used afterwards in practical part of this thesis. Also there is an introduction of the company and its production portfolio. Crucial part of this thesis is it‘s practical part focused on improving of current situation on the production line with an economical and technical assessment. The main goal was to create more compact and smaller area of product line with lower work in progress.

Bachelor’s thesis deals with modern methods of quality control management and its benefits for businesses. It consists of three parts - the first part of this work is focused on general information of methods of quality control. It describes the most important norms, there is also explained the concept of quality management and listed seven basic tools for quality improvement. The second part is devoted to detailed description of three selected modern methods of quality management, namely 5S, Just In Time (JIT) and PPAP. In this section, each method is described in detail. You will find its main purpose, history and the benefits it provides. The third part deals with a brief summary of the previous three methods, the main advantages and disadvantages of each method and are described in this part of the scope with synoptic chart.
Making Production Concept for the Planning of the Production Process

Diploma thesis presents project about improving transportation of input material for assembly workplaces within the production department. Theoretical part is focused on the definition of production and logistics processes in general. Practical part is first devoted to analysis of original way of supplying materials. Then there is presented a lean supplying concept with Milk run followed by conclusions about the project benefits. At the end, there is also presented a way of improvement of informational flows by using informational technologies.

It analyzes both Skoda's external and internal environments and assesses current conditions in their key foreign supply market. Furthermore, it describes the purchasing process, methods of localization of suppliers, as well as possible methods of evaluation of Skoda's suppliers. The Thesis should provide the reader with an overview of current trends and opportunities in Skoda's supplier market.
Optimizing the Manufacturing Process in a Company

This thesis deals with the management of the production process, focusing on unproductive activities. It comprises analysis of the current situation in the company Teva Czech Industries s.r.o. (the TCI) and suggestions for improvement measures. The first chapter presents theoretical basis for processing work. PMT methods, namely MTM and MOST, lean production with a focus on 5S, TPM and Kaizen are described. The second chapter is focused on the company TCI, core business, organization structure and analyzes the current status. It’s focused primarily on the process of critical non-manufacturing operations and the changeover cleaning process. The third chapter, following the analytical part consists of the proposed recommendations. The fourth chapter deals with the final evaluation.
The Study of Production Processes in Medium-sized Engineering Firm

This thesis is focused on improvement measure in existing production conditions, detailed analysis and evaluation main problem. The theoretical section summarizes with help of available literature with basic information about possible improvements, which are gathering information from analysis of production equipment. The main part of practical part is to make map of critical working places, which are essential to discovering possible deficiency in production process and propose real improvements to eliminate this deficiencies.
